PDA students from Glasgow Metropolitan College in 2010 have been particularly enterprising in raising substantial funds to hold their end of year exhibition. A photographic auction where professionals, staff and student photographers donated work, substantially supported the costs of putting on and printing their final year show. The overwhelming success of the auction and the response of professional photographers renewed links with industry and spurned students on to look towards their end of year show and the quality of printing they would be aiming for. All students could select to print to a scale and quality without financial constraints with a sense of value that their hard work had made this possible.
Their enthusiasm and enterprising methods of fund raising gave students an opportunity to make Egressus an exhibition of an exceptionally high standard.
