Poppyscotland's Education Project - Poppy Scotland produces a free range of educational materials that can be used in a variety of subject areas. For the first time they have made this material available to and relevant for the college sector. The materials available include posters, DVD’s and teaching notes. There is also a national poetry competition, which this year has a category for college students.The Poppy Scotland pack would also be useful for students looking for organisations to support through fund raising. Perhaps they could even run an event for Poppy Scotland. Guest speakers and tours of the poppy factory can also be arranged. There are even virtual poppies that can be planted and other useful fundraising aids. |
