The Devil's Kitchen has become an annual event at Forth Valley College Hospitality section, attracting good numbers to this event that demonstrates a mixture of entertainment, amusement, dedication and professionalism. The two teams, Blue and Red are allocated jobs such as chef, waiter etc. compete with each other for business, and are measured against the number of covers, customer ratings and overall levels of hospitality.
Based around the Hell's Kitchen TV programme, participants this year raised money for Rachel's House (CHAS).
Participants are required to secure sponsorship and prizes and to approach suppliers to donate food, drinks and napkins.
The event was a whole hearted success, with rave reviews from customers on the standards of cuisine and customer care, and on the sheer quality of production. The event was fast paced and at times hectic, but throughout, participants demonstrated everything that is good about enterprise related activity, including team work, customer and supplier liaison, collaboration, using technology to good effect and money raising.
