Re:Source

Shared Service for College Staff

Re:source logoRe:Source is a web-based service dedicated to enabling the open sharing of learning and teaching resources.  It will allow you to:

  • easily find resources specific to the Scottish curriculum
  • share materials that others may find useful
  • discuss the resources and practice you use
  • access a single point of discovery to a wide range of resources from a variety of sources not previously shared through a national or open platform.

Re:Source is managed and supported by College Development Network, SQA, the JISC Regional Support Centre Scotland and Education Scotland, and has been developed and hosted by Jorum (the UK body funded by JISC to facilitate the collection and sharing of OER in the UK).

Re:Source is filled with items from a range of sources: College Development Network (from a wide range of projects such as TranSETT, Profound and Complex Needs, and more); SQA; JISC RSC Scotland (case studies developed in collaboration with colleges covering innovative ways of using technology in teaching and learning, RSCtv video packages and topic briefings); BBC Scotland (Class Clips video materials); Jorum (access to UK open educational resources); and we hope from you!
