Jorum

Through Jorum, you can find, share and discuss learning and teaching resources, shared by the UK Further and Higher Education community.

 

MIT OpenCourseWare (OCW)

Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This site provides open access to virtually all MIT course content, with over 2000 courses available.

 

OER commons

OER Commons provide a single point of access through which educators and learners can search across collections to access over 24,000 open educational resources, from over 120 major content providers (such as MIT, NASA, Harvard).

 

Open Yale Courses

Open Yale Courses provides free and open access to a selection of introductory courses taught by teachers and scholars at Yale University.

 

OpenCourseWare Consortium

The OCW Consortium is a collaboration of higher education institutions and associated organisations from around the world and provides access to a wide range of open educational content. It has published more than 13,000 courses in 20 languages.

 

OpenLearn

The OpenLearn website gives free access to Open University course materials.

 

RLO-CETL

RLO-CETL is funded by HEFCE to be a Centre for Excellence in the design, development and use of learning objects. The partner institutions are London Metropolitan University, the University of Cambridge and the University of Nottingham. This site provides access to their resources.

 

SSKS

SSKS , Social Services Knowledge Scotland, is a gateway to information and learning materials shared by NHS Education for Scotland and IRISS (Institute for Research and Innovation in Social Services).

 

Xpert

The Xpert Repository is a database of URLs to open content. The repository does not house the content itself, but manages a collection of resources exposed by a wide variety of institutions via RSS.

Xpert image attribution

The Xpert Attribution tool searches Wikimedia Commons and Flickr and provides an easy way to get the image with the attribution information overlaid, or with RDFa suitable for embedding.

 

Yale Digital Commons

Searches the online images of millions of objects housed in Yale's museums, archives, and libraries which have been released under Yales’ new open access policy.
