Skills for Work
Skills for Work courses are designed to equip young people with the skills they need for the world of work. First piloted in 2005 they place an emphasis on experiential learning and are designed to help candidates learn through practical experience and to reflect on that experience to develop:
- Skills and knowledge in a broad vocational area
- Core Skills
- An understanding of the workplace
- Positive attitudes to learning
