The Finance Community of Practice represents Finance Directors and Managers from colleges all over Scotland. The Steering Group meets rmonthly and is made up of representatives from a wide variety of colleges. An important part of CoP work is carried out within the working groups. As well as enabling members to get involved in discussing and analysing current issues, they represent a way of involving the wider membership of the community.

Aims

  • to provide an opportunity for discussion and networking
  • to keep members informed of current good practice
  • to seek to understand the role of finance within the sector
  • to provide a channel of communication between the CoP and stakeholders
  • to organise events to facilitate these objectives
  • to develop a sectoral approach to finance issues.

All groups welcome new members, so if you feel you have something to contribute either as part of a new group or an existing one then please contact Lesley McEwan.
