The Guidance Community of Practice represents Guidance staff in Scotland's colleges. It's key purpose is to support staff involved in planning and implementation of guidance and student support services.

Aims

• to represent the college sector on the Scottish Guidance Forum and other relevant fora
• to advise on priorities for staff development in the area of guidance and student support services
• to advise and support the planning activities for the CoP
• to advise on the development of the CoP
• to provide a discussion forum to disseminate good practice
• to develop relationships with relevant agencies across Scotland
• to advise on research needs
• to advise on the dissemination of research projects and the development of publications.
