The HR Community of Practice represents HR staff in Scotland's colleges. It has a steering committee with regional groups who meet to share local knowledge and practice.
Aims
- to provide a channel of communication between individuals with responsibility for providing HR support services in the Scottish college sector
- to organise a programme of events
- to facilitate opportunities for members of specific groups of HR practitioners within the college sector to meet and discuss their particular circumstances
- to formulate responses to new developments and communicate these to other relevant groups.

The HR Community of Practice Steering Group have been involved with preparing a Bid_for_Funding (18.86 kB) to support cost benchmarking activities in Human Resources and Staff Management in Scotland’s colleges which is in response to Circular SFC/10/2005 - Invitation to bid for funding to support cost benchmarking activities.
