The Quality Community of Practice represents staff with a responsibility for quality within Scotland's colleges. Its key purpose is to assist staff in colleges with the development of a quality improvement culture. The Quality CoP has developed strong links with SFC, HMIe and others who contribute to improving quality.

Self-Evaluation Tool for Scotland's Colleges
HMIe have kindly made available the Determined to Succeed self-evaluation application which will be of particular interest to quality managers and management in colleges preparing for inspections or reviewing progress and targets on an ongoing basis.
Aims
- to become a focal point for quality improvement issues
- to facilitate the exchange of information and practice on quality improvement
- to focus research and development activities
- to develop and arrange information and development events
- to become a key link with other fora and agencies regarding quality improvement
- to generate Scotland's colleges perspective on quality improvement to influence key agencies.
