• Materials and workshops to strengthen technical aspects of their responsibilites;
• resources which demonstrate good practice in support of more robust Board self-evaluation;
• tailored provision which reflects local circumstance for institutions.

In addition, because of the nature of arrangements for College Boards of Management, provision is available in a flexible manner to maximise access.

The programme includes the following:

• We have workshops training on Governance and Accountability, Non-Executive, Leadership and Delivery and Leading through Change.
  
• Short, focused development sessions to be offered regionally and on a twilight basis
• Enhanced package of online resources.

To ensure all board members have an opportunity to participate in the programme we aim to ensure that sessions are highly focused and available at a variety of venues across the country.

Steeing Group

The Governance Steering Group was established with a broad remit to oversee support arrangements, commission evaluation of the programme components, receive reports, act upon recommendations and advise on future provision.
