As part of EU Green Week for Water, on Wednesday 23 May at Glasgow's Radisson Blu Hotel at the Global Water Scarcity Conference, Nick Lyth, Director of International Recycling & Resources Institute will launch a major funding opportunity for businesses to connect into an international network of competence enabling new technologies, academic and practical know how, training and education, and a mentoring network with global connectivity to be part of a fundamental shift in solutions to the mounting problems of providing adequate clean water supplies for the world's population. Friday 1 June 2012 at Scotland's Colleges, Stirling
Come together with students and staff from colleges and universities across Scotland to share ideas about how to get sustainability issues embedded in the curriculum and education for sustainable development. The event will include workshops and presentations from students and practitioners already ‘greening’ learning and teaching in their institution as well as a chance to share ideas and action-plan.
Workshops will include topics such as working with course reps, student participation, incorporating sustainability in vocational courses and the Regional Centre of Expertise.
This event is being organised in close partnership with Scotland’s Colleges and EAUC and will support EAUC’s ESD Topic Support Network series.
