The Subject Networks provide opportunities for debate, discussion, collaboration and sharing information.
Subject networks' core purposes are to:
- Act as a hub of publicity for breaking news, policies and practices to subject practitioners
- Respond to needs through generic and contextualised, progressive professional development
- Act as a catalyst for the sharing of good practice, case studies and materials
- Adopt practices of delivery similar to those expected of college practitioners
- Share, collaborate and develop strong links with key partners and stakeholders
- Endeavour to use our position to influence change and policy
We achieve our core purposes by:
- Embracing modern communication technologies to inform, engage, enable
- Involving key stakeholders and leaders in our processes
- Targeting key initiatives and policies
- Having regular internal and external communication via an up-to-date database of contacts
- Providing timely, appropriate and accessible professional development for practitioners
- Undertaking rigorous measurement and evaluation of impact of our processes and achievements
